Bent - From the vaults part 6: 'My Daughter the Asteroid'

Can’t believe we’re at the sixth give-away, and yet there’s still loads and loads to get though…

This one harks back to us trying to complete our “difficult second album”, and although in some ways it has all the generic calling cards of a chill out tune – something we never purposefully aimed at creating – it does have a very cheery vibe that reflected our states of mind at that point… new babies, new albums, new synthesizers… And you’ll even hear us messing around at the end, since we went through a phase of recording us pissing around in the room while we were recording… happy days…

Enjoy! :-)

Bent - From the vaults part 5: 'Green Cross Code'

Morning! Actually, that sounded too chirpy for 8.35 am.

Hello.

To make up for my late post last time, I’m up nice and early to give you the fifth free give-away from our archive.. as usual, click the title for the link!

Enjoy :-)

Bent - From the vaults part 4: 'British Summertime'

Morning!

Yes, I’m a bit late today – but here’s our fourth give-away, ‘British Summertime’.

It’s a fluffy little number, and it’s from about 2000.

Anyway, as usual, there’s a little description under the track – click the title for the link!

Enjoy :-)

Bent - From the vaults part 3: 'Pipecleaners'

Here’s your prize for helping us reach 3333 on our facebook page!

Hope you enjoy!

Bent - From the vaults part 2: 'Doo Doo'

Good morning folks – so here we are for the second instalment of the big-bent-give-away, ‘Doo Doo’!

This chirpy little number should be the perfect antidote to the monday morning blues. I’m personally dying to hear what you think of it; for me it sums up Bent massively… well at least the daft-sampling side of us.

I think in some ways it would be great to write an album purely like this… food for thought….anyway, there’s a little description is under the track, and the link is in the title…

..Enjoy :-)

Bent - From the vaults part 1: '18/30 Holiday'

So folks, in true Bent spirit I give you the second track we created (just as exercise 2 was written before exercise 1)… 18/30 Holiday. Finally, after 13 years it comes off the shelf.

I’m adding a brief story about each track in the description under the track, for those who are interested.

Click the link above, hope you enjoy :-)

P.s. that Bent cassette you see in the artwork is one that I found at Nail’s place, recently.
